When it comes to Eloping, there is one place to do it. Vermont is an idyllic place to get away for a weekend, ski, hike, ride bikes on the causeway, and even elope. Whether it’s Stowe, Lake Champlain, or a private Airbnb here are my favorite tips and tricks.
Pick a location you LOVE
It’s so important that you love the way the location looks, or maybe there is a sentimental meaning behind it. Either way, the more you love it, the more excited you’ll be.
Choose your guest list before!
Decide if you want it to be a private ceremony or a small event. Not all elopements are created equally. It’s so important to have a conversation with friends and family before the event, letting them know what to expect (an invite, or maybe when to expect the photos if they are cross country)
Be Prepared for Weather
Vermont is gorgeous, but usually, that comes with rainy days, snow, or even -10° weather. If you need to bring an umbrella, sunscreen, or coat make sure you look ahead and know well beforehand, if not we can always make due.
Have Fun!
It’s your day! Make it whatever you want it to be. If you want to get pizza, drink beers, or even just take a few minutes for yourself – Let’s go for it!
